A History of Wet Spot Welding

Wet Spot Welding Starting over twenty years ago in 1997 in a garage as a side business.  Twenty five years of passion, hard work and unparalleled craftsmanship have created a thriving, full-service fabrication and welding shop and mobile service here in Southern Oregon.

1997 - 2002

Wet Spot Welding started in a garage in Eugene as a side business in 1997.  A dedication to quality work and the ability to provide clients with specialty, custom fabrication and welding solutions resulted in such rapid growth,  Wet Spot had to build their first shop within a year to better serve a growing list of customers.

2003 - 2017

After building a successful, expanding company in Eugene, the Wentz's decided it was time to move closer to home to start their family. Their son, Bailey, was born in 1999. Wet Spot Welding rented a shop in Sutherlin, OR, between the years of 2003 – 2008 – from a gentleman by the name of Glen Thomas.

By the time 2008 rolled around, it was time for Wet Spot Welding’s first, very own shop to be built.

2018 - Current

Wet Spot Welding has grown and changed so much over the years but the one thing you can always count on being the same is our commitment to quality craftsmanship, our dedication to our customers to provide quality work, and service that make their lives and their jobs, easier.
